   America's security depends on the good will of the citizens of the rest of the world.
September 11, 2001 proved:
  • Military superiority does not equal security.
  • Economic might does not equal security.
  • Technological dominance does not equal security.

    Supporting repressive tyrants, because they are our "allies", will not protect us from terrorists. A vast majority of the terrorists involved in the September 11 attacks came from Saudi Arabia.

    Giving up our civil liberties cannot secure us against terrorists. Indeed, such a course would probably inspire more acts of domestic terror a la the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City.

    Only by respecting the inalienable rights of all the peoples and nations of the world can America become the friend that people will not want to attack.
