It is wrong to saddle future generations with massive debt without also leaving them a corresponding benefit. What benefit will they derive from the oil we are burning today?

Rather than leaving them a benefit, we are ruining the planet. We know that global warming results from the greenhose gasses caused, in large measure, by burning fossil fuel.

Our actions are nothing short of immoral. But then we aren't the ones who will bear the brunt of the cost. Never has it been more true that the sins of the fathers shall be visited upon the children.
